The Lion Roars at his enemy

During my journaling time with the Lord, I began thanking Him for our blessings, our plans, and thanking Him that our desires and prayer request are at the door.

I was actually encouraging myself in the Lord with music and gratitude when I was surprised by the following statement.

Roar your promises.

What?

Roar your promises. So I began to list the promises and prayer request we are believing for, keeping silent.

I paused and meditated on what I heard.

I was not to pray them in, I was to roar them in.

“The LORD roars from Zion… and the heavens and the earth tremble.” (Joel 3:16)

I really did not know or understand what this meant, so I did a search and came across this teaching here.

We watched the teaching, read the handout and hubby and I roared together.

In one particular exercise, we both had the exact same communication from the Lord, the others were very similar.

In the end, we felt our list of prayer petitions was moved forward. This is new to me, to us and it is from God because I could not make this up.

Many times we may not understand everything, but with the guidance of the Holy Spirit we can be assured that God has our best interest at heart.

I am excited to see how things will move in our favor and will be sure to let you know.

How to cleanse your house of evil spirits

Have you ever entered a home and the back of your hairs stands out on end, and you feel goosebumps? Do you live in a home where you toss and turn and cannot have a good nights sleep?  Have you considered your house could be inhabited by evil spirits?

How to cleanse your house of evil spirits

Believe it or not, this is not unusual. While many people do not believe in evil spirits, they do exist because we live in a natural and spiritual world.

In the natural world, we can see, feel, hear and touch, but with the spiritual world, we can sense and in some cases smell. If you have the gift of sight, then you can see into the unseen spiritual world.

How can you tell if your house has “other” occupants?
Here are a few indicators.

  • You may see shadows or catch something moving out of the corner of your eye.
  • You could fear entering a room, or even walk down the hallway of the house.
  • There is an object in the house you do not like,  and can´t explain why.
  • You hear footsteps, and there is no one there. Yes I know, creepy.
  • There is contention, arguments or even sickness within the family members.
  • You begin to have evil thoughts or even bad dreams.

What is possibly causing this?

The most common are objects.

Or demons residing in the home.

Also…

A visitor, who is contaminated by an evil influence and cursed the home.  Yes, this happens too, not nice.

Cleansing your home of an evil influence is actually quite simple. It is not a long drawn out process and you don´t need experts to do this.

Here are a few steps that will guide you through the process.

Come before the Lord, repent of any sins known and unknown and begin thanking  Him.  The demons are legalist, and we don´t want them to use anything against you.

Focus on Jesus,  asking for the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him. Ask the Lord to stir up the gifts inside of you, for clarity and discernment. Don´t worry if you don´t flow in these gifts, believe the Lord will show you what needs to be done, and He will do it.

If you can, have two to three other people that flow in the revelatory gifts (hear and see in the spirit realm) to pray throughout the house with you.

Prayer to cleanse objects and the home:

“I sever and remove every original curse and spell, with all backups and replacements from this (object, room, etc) with the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth who came in the flesh, send them to the Abyss, and purify it with the fire of the Holy Spirit. Let any demons attached to it be sent to the Abyss.”

Say this prayer throughout the house and over objects, and when you are finished, declare blessings. If you like, you can anoint the walls, windows, and doors with any house oil while saying these prayers.

Note: After cleansing the object(s), ask the Lord if you are to throw it away or if you can keep it.  Trust in the Lord, He will direct you.  It is not always necessary to get rid of them.   Once they are cleansed of the attached demons,  many times you are able to keep the object.

Last but not least, ask the Holy Spirit to fill the house, rooms etc.,  and for the presence of God to take over and fill the house with His peace and presence.

This process will not take hours, and it is very effective and most of all fun!

How to establish your true Identity in Christ

Sadly, many believers today do not have a full understanding of their true identity in Christ.  It is very easy to fall prey to the cares of the world, as it can readily consume us with thoughts of panic, anxiety, fear, threat, theft, death and so on.

The world loves to give us labels on our weight, what car to drive and even imply how we should think.

It is very easy to listen to the voice of the world. Rather, we should listen to what the Bible says about us.

The lies we hear around us are limiting.  They limit your potential and cloud your true identity.  By default, you end up walking in fear and doubt.

Eventually, we come to believe these lies as true, and they end up molding us into something we are not, which is the opposite of what Christ has for us.

Why do we believe these lies?

The truth is we have a very real enemy, and he has a very short job description: steal, kill and destroy.

He wants to steal your identity in Christ, kill any prospect of you achieving your full potential and destroy your dreams and hopes.   He has been saying these lies to you for a very long time, and the voice you hear inside your head sounds just like your voice.

Our identity in Christ conveys we are seated in heavenly places, and we will do even greater works than Jesus did.

Of course,  the enemy wants to keep us in bondage with limiting, debilitating lies, to not have us reach our full potential.  If he is trying so hard, he must be afraid of something.

How do we overcome these lies and establish our true identity in Christ?

With the written word.

Romans 10:17  So then, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message comes through preaching Christ.

When you begin to declare out loud the written word of God over yourself, you will suddenly find these lies dissipating over your life.   The word of God enters your spirit and your faith begins to increase.

It’s important to set a firm foundation in Christ, and removing the lies is just one step in the process of doing so.

Here are some verses to say out loud, to meditate on, and believe as true.

If you have had traumatic lies spoken over you, such as you will never amount to much, you are not good, you will never succeed,  I understand.  Start off slow, and personalize the truth of God over your life, even if you don´t feel like it.  In time, the truth will become part of you.

  • John 15:16    I have been chosen and appointed to bear fruit.
  • 1 Corinthians 3:16  I am God´s temple
  • Colossians 1:14  I have been redeemed by His blood and forgiven of all my sins.
  • Ephesians 1:5  I have been adopted as God’s child
  • 2 Timothy 1:7  I have not been given the spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound mind.

These are just a few short examples, but I think you get the idea.

The solution to removing the lies spoken over you is to speak the truth. The truth lies in Bible and it will set you free.

If you are having trouble with your emotions because of pain and hurts, ask the Lord to shower and wash your emotions in the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth who came in the flesh, and to place your emotions in order.  It works!

Believe these truths, and tell these lies to leave in Jesus name, and walk in your rightful victory. It belongs to you, and you are taking back what the enemy has stolen from you.

As you continue to hear the truth of God over your life,  you will discover freedom in your troubled areas and an opportunity to reach your full potential.

Go ahead, speak the truth over yourself. Be bold, and see what happens to your life.

Decree vs. Declare

In Christian circles, we hear the phrase I decree and declare while praying.   I would do this, but did you ever consider that this is incorrect?

decree

I found out  there is a difference between the two words, and I would like to share it with you.

First,  what is a declaration?

If you have ever traveled out of the country, the airline gives you these funny little forms you need to fill out to declare what you are bringing into the country that you are visiting.  How much money do you have on hand, how many pieces of luggage, any fruit, and so forth.

Merriam-Webster defines declaration this way:

  • The act of making an official statement about something : the act of declaring something
  • Something that is stated or made known in an official or public way

Declare means to make known

When we declare something in prayer, we are making an official statement about something that already exist.  For example, I declare that I am saved by grace through Christ.  I declare  I am seated in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.

Decree

We see in the book of Esther the king told Esther to issue a decree after Haman’s plan was foiled.

Est 8:7- 8   Then King Ahasuerus said to Queen Esther and Mordecai the Jew, “Indeed, I have given Esther the house of Haman, and they have hanged him on the gallows because he tried to lay his hand on the Jews.   You yourselves write a decree concerning the Jews, as you please, in the king’s name, and seal it with the king’s signet ring; for whatever is written in the king’s name and sealed with the king’s signet ring no one can revoke.”

Later this decree was executed.

Merriam-Webster defines decree as an official order given by a person with power or by a government

A biblical definition is one of the eternal purposes of God, by which events are foreordained.

My friends know  when they call and ask how I am doing, I  answer I am blessed.  I am decreeing  I am blessed, even though I may be having a horrible day.

Decrees are a tool by which we cause the truths of the heavenly realm to be manifested into the natural realm. For example, we decree healing when we are sick, we decree provision and abundance when we are lacking and so forth.

When I pray for people, I decree  they will walk out their new found freedom in faith, and will be strong to come against the attack of the enemy.

I went to prayer asked the Lord about decrees, and this is what He said.

There is nothing magical about a decree.  It is what is placed in your heart, and will be released with your mouth and the decree will go forth throughout the earth and accomplish its’ purpose.  It is your job to speak it forth, a decree comes from your spirit.

When I learned  there was a difference, I changed my prayers.   I now know when to declare and when to decree.  Having my prayers align with the truth is what I aim for.
